MT4 will use 90% ticks from broker you will use which is enough unless you are trying impossible strategies like HFT or history readers. Range starting year 2004 data.
MT5 natively and for free offers 99% and up to 2015 in the majority of brokers; user is responsible for ticks if they want to ge 2004 year. Ask if we have free space in our own ticks providers for larger ranges.

After positive results and more than double my initial investment in profits, I decided to optimize strategy and code with what I was able to study in those months.

This is a question I get so often is very hard to answer.
Trading mode aims to push markets to get insane returns during stable conditions, having issues when trends starts; risk can be 100%.
With investing model, to make it 100% auto & adapted to every range data provides, I have to NOT push market and wait for whatever current conditions deliver.
Im averaging +65% yearly with V1 in my 1st long testing.
My aim and based in data is to be above 10-20% in yearly basis.
