Plate 04 | Proof, Not Promises

Backtesting and Robustness Lab

The algorithm is the hypothesis. The pipeline is the answer: 10,000+ verified backtests, an untouched out-of-sample era, Monte-Carlo stress gates, and a fleet of gradient-boosted tree models - including XGBoost - that reads 42 internal logics to decide which candidate deserves silicon next.

01 | Evidence Ledger

Every claim carries a run ID. An append-only ledger of 10,500+ real backtest runs with deterministic run identity and epoch rebases when market data changes. Nothing is anecdote - every published number traces to a specific, re-runnable run.

02 | Multi-Era Truth Tables

Not a cherry-picked record - honest statistics. 200+ ranges spanning 3 independent regimes: institutional 2004-2015, 2016-2019, and the modern tick era - and the catalog keeps growing as new data lands. A fully untouched out-of-sample holdout is never optimized against and serves as the champion ceremony's final judge.

03 | Robustness Gauntlet

Champions are not declared - they are survivors. Staged promotion: clean, latency, in-EA Monte-Carlo stress, cost stress, forward paper. Fail any gate and the candidate is blocked. Vacuous stress axes were identified and documented instead of quietly ignored.

04 | Execution Realism

Latency modeled as a distribution, not a single number. Per-range gates: strict profitability at 150ms, survival at 300ms, an ideal ceiling, and a hard veto on jitter. Ranking uses probability-weighted expectation per range - never a single average across eras. A measured live latency anchors the ladder.

05 | ML Oracle

The machine that reads the machine. Per-range surrogates predict profit, drawdown and profit factor before a burn; feature importance surfaces which of the EA's 42 logics drive outcomes; dead-knob detection kills wasted sweeps. Full fleet detail in Plate 04A. Bayesian optimization plus low-discrepancy mass-sweeps propose candidates; active learning ranks the next experiment by insight per compute dollar.

The compounding asset. A structured knowledge base: full map of 42 logics across 20 groups, per-range learnings, distilled lessons queryable by agents, and champion doctrine. Explicitly built as training fuel for a future model - today it is the agents' shared memory; tomorrow it is the fine-tune.

Plate 04A | Model Fleet

The Models Trading The Algorithm

The EA is not a black box - it is a 42-logic machine. A second machine reads the first one. Four gradient-boosted tree model systems (a fleet that includes XGBoost) sit between the algorithm and raw market history. The strongest result so far is blunt: the models proved some parameters do nothing, and we removed them from the search space. This is not "AI trading." This is machine learning as infrastructure - the EA trades; the ML decides what to test next.

Result | Dead-Knob Falsification Operational

The per-range surrogate scored every knob against baseline. On any range where the model cannot separate a setting from baseline, the parameter is dead - it does nothing. Those knobs were cut from the optimization search space. Falsifiable, concrete, and the reason wasted simulation cycles drop.

01 | Regime-Eyes Panel In Production

XGBoost panel model: per logic, per market regime - who makes money where. The EA runs 42 independent logics across 20 engine groups. The map says which earn in a 2004-2015 squeeze, which die, which only work in modern tick regimes. Refreshed on every retrain.

02 | Trade Grader In The Lab

Meta-labeling in the Lopez de Prado pattern: not "does this strategy make money" but "does this exact trade right now make money." Trained on 20,522 real extracted deals; emits win-probability and magnitude per closing deal. The actual technique big-fund quants use - built on retail hardware. Proof-of-concept stage, labeled honestly.

03 | Cascade Watch In Development

Classifier for drawdown cascades before they happen: family concentration, unrealized pain, regime condition -> P(cascade next N bars). Early warning most retail stacks do not have. Still in development; shown as lab work, not as a live gate.

04 | Per-Range Surrogate Operational

Gradient-boosted trees from knob settings straight to profit, drawdown, and profit-factor per range - so simulation burns only on ideas that forecast well. Also the engine behind dead-knob detection. Agents call it daily through the MCP predict-range tool.

Plate 04B | Agentic Floor

The Agentic Pipeline

One laptop. That is the whole stack. The rest is the same cloud and local LLMs everyone can rent - the difference is a factory floor. Agents read the same bootstrap doc, follow the same laws, append to the same ledger, and ask the same knowledge base before acting. Cloud models reason; local models recall. The pattern is not "agent generates code." Agents are the researchers; the backtester is the lab; the ledger is the truth.

Research Loop | Hypothesis to Gate

Agents form hypotheses, burn compute on evidence, reject their own intuition when the ledger disagrees, and hand institutional memory to successors in a format built for a future fine-tune. A fund has departments: research, backtesting, validation, domain expertise. This stack has lanes - the workflows are equally formal.

The 42-logic algorithm trades gold. The system around it is the actual edge. Machine-learning infrastructure and agent lanes close the department gap a one-person shop would otherwise carry alone - without pretending the lab models are production when they are not.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. The market's only 100% certainty is that no one knows the future - that's what makes it fun. I provide stable, verified tools, but you are responsible for your risk. Don't blame others; execute with responsibility.
I do not know and please never ask me that. My job is to keep account and margin protected. I do not chase profits, this is an investing model. Algorithm waits for market, places trades that stay in DD until reversed.
Yes, model is based off past (backtesting) and live data.

My portfolio started in 2021 and I averaged around 35-35% yearly up to 2026 when I stopped to code my new algorithm. I always optimize but that's a fair number to expect.
No. Never during your 1-year management cycle. You keep 100% of all closed profits with zero split. You only pay the flat annual management fee covering your dedicated VPS and execution. After 1 year, we renegotiate favorable renewal conditions tailored to your account growth.
You open an account with your own regulated broker and keep full control. I receive only the trading account credentials needed to deploy and manage the EA - no access to deposits or withdrawals, ever. You can watch every position live and disconnect at any time.
Yes - and only you can. Your capital stays in your own broker account under your name. I never touch your money: I only need your trading account credentials to set up and manage the EA. Withdrawals are impossible for me - deposit and withdrawal access is 100% yours, 24/7.
None at all. We set up the cloud server (VPS) for you, connect the algorithms, and manage all the technical infrastructure. You simply monitor your account on your phone.
The Lab Lifetime Access ($999 USD 1-Time Beta) is processed securely through Whop. Crypto payment is available upon request; contact support@daavile.com and we arrange it directly.
Debate, disagree, question, learn - all welcome. Disrespect, personal attacks, or breaking the group's rules is not. Keep it classy and professional and we'll get along; act toxic or leak proprietary models and you're out immediately with no refunds.
Currently Gold (XAUUSD) exclusively. Gold provides consistent daily volatility and high liquidity, making it ideal for automated algorithmic trend and yield execution.
Brokers are your choice. I diversify my capital where I can. Regulations and restrictions are a headache, so DYOR (Do Your Own Research). I provide IB affiliate links to support the ecosystem, but the final decision is yours.

DYOR: I don't promote brokers, just share the ones I use. I hate them all equally, trust no one, diversify and wish one day I can trade direct pools.
Users worldwide (excluding USA & Canada) can use cent accounts for max optimization. RoboForex, TeleTrade, VT Markets, and Vantage are some of the brokers with MT5 and cent accounts. USA and Canada traders can't use cent accounts.

Cent Options: $10k deposit (Max 2 accounts - $199/yr) | $25k deposit (Max 5 accounts - $299/yr) | $50k deposit (Max 10 accounts - $499/yr).

* Note: For deposits over $20,000 USD, capital is split across multiple brokers due to maximum cent balance caps.
Canada traders have more options but not cent accounts; they will have to go with standard accounts that require higher investment ($100,000 USD minimum capital - $999/yr). USA traders operate under their own risk with offshore CFD brokers.
Yes. I keep expanding strategies, models and algorithms. Everything runs on fresh data with continuous optimization - nothing ships once and rots.
Short to long term, yes. The plan is diversified portfolios across multiple uncorrelated assets and markets, run as investing-trading farms. XAUUSD is the base - everything else gets measured against it.
